BALM : About Derrick Hall

errick Hall is the Speaker/Director of BALM also known as Begin Again Living Ministries. Since its inception on September 20th,1997, BALM's core focus has been evangelism and church outreach training. Under the dynamic leadership of Derrick Hall, who has a contagious passion for evangelism and church training, the pass ten years has been a beehive of activity for this unique ministry and has resulted in over 200 souls coming to Christ thus far.

Steming from his passion for evangelism and with instruction from God, Derrick developed a ministry which focuses on training and one which encourages church members to evangelize their communities thus it was that on May 7th, 2005 that BALM lanched its Witnessing Church Training Program (TWC).

As founder and director of the Witnessing Church, Elder Hall has a passion for not just sharing Christ with others but teaching others how to share Him. Serving in several capacities including Bible worker, evangelist, associate pastor, missionary, church growth specialist and evangelism coordinator has provided a broad experience in ministry.

His Christ centered seminars, workshops and evangelism training boot camps will provide practical instruction on following Christ’s methods in door to door work, giving Bible studies, reaching the heart, gaining decisions, and helping people grow in a relationship with Christ.

During the course of this unique ministry, Derrick has trained laymen, elders, pastors, bible workers and also works closely with personal ministries leaders to equip and mobilize the church members in accomplishing the distinct mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is a much sought after speaker, singer and trainer and is also a consultant to other denominational churches.

Derrick has had the privilege of training with some of the Adventist Church's premier evangelists including Ron Halvorsen, Mark Finley, Brian McMahon, Doug Batchelor and Gary Gibbs. He is a graduate of the Amazing Fact College of Evangelism (AFCOE) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology through Griggs University.

Elder Derrick Hall is also the Christian author of the book The Witnessing Church which has been endorsed by Adventist authors - Dr. Herbert E. Douglass, Gary Gibbs and Pastor Ivor Myers. His book is available online at Amazon.com.

Without lay-evangelism the church will never accomplish the work God has given it to do. We are convinced that with the right commitment, resources and training, every local church can greatly multiply its effectiveness in reaching souls for the kingdom of heaven.
